The Office of State Budget in conjunction with the Governor's Office
updates the agency activity inventory database to assist in the
formulation of the Executive Budget. Each agency is
required to break down its Appropriations (excluding health
and pay plan allocations) into discrete and definitive activities.
An activity is defined as something an organization does to accomplish
its goals and objectives, consumes resources, and produces a product,
service or result.
One of the primary objectives of this initiative is to identify and
capture agency activities at a greater level of detail than can be found
in the annual Appropriations Act.
